Tania is a computer scientist from Barcelona, of Pakistani descent. She is conducting research for a U.S. company on the use of virtual worlds to reduce pollution in the educational sector. Her twin brother, Osman, is her only remaining family, but he has been out of touch for months. Osman finally appears through his avatar in Second Life, refusing to reveal his location or who he is working for. What started in the virtual world spills into the real world, and Tania has six days to try to prevent a planned online attack by a group her brother is involved with.
