In 2007, a comprehensive renovation project begins for the Edificio España, an iconic building in Madrid that, during the Franco era was a symbol of prosperity. Over two hundred workers from various nationalities are involved in the project, creating an unusual collection of anecdotes and integrating their experiences into the building’s own history. A vast Tower of Babel upon which the marks of our time will be imprinted.
